Today's workout was pretty rough. I didn't have my workout buddy so it was long and rough but I got it done early so I had the rest of the day to chill out!

Day 50 4th Fit Test + Max Interval Circuit










I haven't been posting lately cuz things have been crazy around here. Yesterday was "rest day" but I ran my first race ever instead! It was only 4 miles but it was good for me. My time was 45 minutes and I can't wait to keep running and improve my time. Today's fit test was good, definitely improving still. The Max Interval Circuit was rough because I am very sore but I'm excited to only have 2 weeks left. :)

Day 45 Max Interval Plyo







Hey everyone,



Sorry for not blogging for the past few days but I have been on vacation and 2 days ago I sprained a muscle in my inner thigh/groin area and was unable to workout for the past few days. Today I got back into it though, with some max interval plyo. I took it really slow but it feels so good to do it. There are only 2 1/2 more weeks of Insanity until I reach my goal date and start the whole process over again. As you can all see, my results are amazing and I recommend this program for anyone.

Day 40 Max Interval Circuit

Today was rough because I think I sprained something in my left thigh. Lunges were hard and anything that had to do with stretching my left thigh/groin area. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Day 38 Max Cardio Conditioning

Today was extremely hard because I am on vacation and the room that I did the workout in wasn't the best. The floor was very slippery so I had to work that much harder when I did pushups and plank work. I loved the exercises because they were non-stop and non-repeating. It was a good workout! It's gonna be hard trying to fit in workouts everyday while on vacation but I'm gonna stick it out :)

Day 36 3rd Fit Test and Max Interval Circuit







Today was super hard. I spent a total of an hour and a half working out and I wanted to throw up a couple of times. I did really well on the fit test with noticeable improvements. But the max interval circuit was another story. It was hard learning all of the new exercises and doing them after being tired from giving everything during the fit test. I know that I will only get better in the coming weeks, but I am really exhausted. Here are my results from the 3rd fit test:

Day 35 Rest

Today I took complete advantage of my resting day. Tomorrow is the 3rd fit test as well as Max Interval Circuit. I will be working out with Erika, who just got back from vacation so we are both going to be getting our butts kicked. I have 4 weeks left till my goal date of losing all my baby weight. 10 lbs to lose this month!

Day 34 Core Cardio & Balance 6


I have successfully completed Recovery Week and I feel great. I am way stronger and in shape than I was a month ago and I am already seeing results. Can't wait for Monday to start the Max Interval section.

Today was much better, I only stopped once during the hip flexor moves...since tomorrow is the last day of recovery week, I am determined to go the whole way without stopping, wish me luck!

Day 29 Core Cardio and Balance

I mixed up the numbers on my days so, if you're confused about the number of today, I messed up and didn't feel like going back and changing them all. Today started recovery week. It was 37 minutes of many different exercises, each one lasting a minute. Some of them were familiar, but others were new and intense. The main focus was form and working on the core. I worked up a good sweat and I'm ready to strengthen myself this week.

Rest

Today was a much needed break! I am currently on vacation in Oakland, Ca visiting my boyfriend's sister. We went to her gym yesterday morning and did a running class on the treadmills. Very different but extremely hard for me. We did jogging and sprinting on all of the different inclines and it kicked my butt. So today I did absolutely nothing! Ready to start recovery week tomorrow.

Day 24 Plyometric Cardio Circuit

1 month of Insanity is completed!! I feel so accomplished and definitely a lot stronger than a month ago. Tomorrow I get to rest and then Monday is my 3rd fit test. I can't wait to see the improvement on my numbers :)

Day 23 Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs

Today I had a great workout! I just got new shoes yesterday which I think helped my ankle/foot pain. I am also able to do the warm-ups without stopping. Tomorrow is the last day of week 4 and I couldn't be happier with my results.

Day 22 Cardio Recovery

Today was a much needed recovery day....my body is giving out on me! I registered for a 4 mile run in 3 weeks, so I'm trying to get in shape for that but I might need a new body by then! Ready for tomorrow :)

Day 21 Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Today I worked out with my boyfriend and felt pretty good! Plus I went for a run this morning. Getting back into running is hard, especially on my knees, but everything is getting stronger! I signed up for a 4 mile run in 3 weeks so I need to get stronger and have more endurance by then, which I'm sure I will. Wish me luck.

I felt super tired today and I think not having my workout buddy is really taking a toll on me. It seems like there are always new muscles hurting out of nowhere! Now my ankles and feet are killing me. But they must be getting stronger right?

Day 19 Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs







Today was ok. I was kind of tire by the end, especially for the cardio abs, but I definitely feel myself getting more tone. My current weight is 145 so that means I only have 10 pounds to go till my goal weight!!! Also, this week I will start training for a 5k coming up, and a half marathon in 3 months!
